Game PS 2 Adventure

Banyak banget sekarang CD/DVD game-game PS2 yang beredar di pasaran, salah satunya bergenre adventure. Yak beberapa diantaranya yaitu:

1. Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories untuk Sony PlayStation 2.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep untuk PSP.

2. Rogue Galaxy

Rogue Galaxy (ローグギャラクシー?) is a science fiction console role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. The game was first released in Japan on December 8, 2005, and later in North America on January 30, 2007. The European release was initially expected in 2006 but after a series of postponements it was released in most European countries on 5 September 2007. Release in the UK and some other countries followed on 7 September 2007. A Director's Cut version of the game was also released in Japan on March 15, 2007. The Director's Cut included all the added features and improvements of the North American and European localizations.[1]

Rogue Galaxy enjoyed immense critical success upon its initial release in Japan, scoring a 36/40 in Famitsu and an 85 average in Dengeki, two of Japan's most popular gaming magazines. Sales were also very strong for an original IP RPG in Japan, with sales totaling over 350,000 units in just three months.

3. Shadow of The Colossus

Shadow of the Colossus, released in Japan as Wander to Kyozō (ワンダと巨像 Wanda to Kyozō?, officially translated Wander and the Colossus),[1] is an action-adventure video game published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI) for the PlayStation 2. The game was released in North America and Japan in October 2005 and PAL territories in February 2006.[2] The game was directed by Fumito Ueda and developed at SCEI's International Production Studio 1, also known as Team Ico; the same development team responsible for the cult hit[3] Ico.[4] Shadow of the Colossus is considered a spiritual successor to Ico. Along with Ico, Shadow of the Colossus will be released in Ico and Shadow of the Colossus: The Collection for the PlayStation 3 in spring 2011; it will feature HD graphics, Trophy and 3D support.[5]

The game focuses on a young man named Wander who must travel across a vast expanse on horseback and defeat sixteen beings, simply known as colossi,[6] to restore the life of a girl. The game is unusual within the action-adventure genre in that there are no towns or dungeons to explore, no characters with which to interact, and no enemies to defeat other than the colossi.[7][8] Shadow of the Colossus has been described as a puzzle game, as each colossus' weakness must be identified and exploited before it can be defeated.[9][10]

Shadow of the Colossus is regarded as an important work of art and cited as an influential title due to its minimalist landscape designs, immersive gameplay and emotional journey. It received wide critical acclaim by the media and consistently ranks upon best games lists by publications, as one of the best PS2 games of all time and one of the best games overall. It was met with strong sales compared to Ico, due in part to a larger marketing campaign, and the soundtrack was widely praised. It won several awards for its audio, design, and overall quality. Shadow of the Colossus is also referenced numerous times in debates regarding the art quality and emotional perspectives of videogames.

4. Asassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed is an award-winning historical science-fiction video game series that as of Spring, 2011 consists of two main console games (Assassin's Creed I and Assassin's Creed 2) with a third major game in the works, one direct continuation (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, a continuation of Assassin's Creed 2), a Facebook game, a short film (split into three episodes), two novels and comic books. The games appeared on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, Mac OS X, iOS, HP webOS,[1] Android and Windows Phone 7 platforms. The main games in the franchise were developed by Ubisoft Montreal, with the handheld titles developed by Gameloft and Gryptonite Studios, with additional development by Ubisoft Montreal. All games in the franchise are published by Ubisoft.

The main story arc of the series revolves around a bartender named Desmond Miles as he is captured by megacorporation Abstergo Industries. Using a machine known as the Animus, Desmond is forced to relive the memories of his ancestors, who were all assassins, in order to recover artifacts, called the "Pieces of Eden", for Abstergo. While the original assassin ancestor of Desmond is Altaïr Ibn la-Ahad, the most recent games feature another assassin from Renaissance Italy named Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Assassination targets are mostly actual historical figures, although the timelines for their lives and causes of death have been changed to suit the games' plot (in-game these inaccuracies are attributed to the Templars rewriting history to cover up their actions, as well as honest mistakes on the part of historians).

The gameplay varies slightly from game to game, consisting of a mixture of action and adventure with a heavy emphasis on stealth in open world recreations of historical cities. The series has sold over 20 million units.
